Adult Winter Read 2026 (Ages 18+) (January 5th-March 28th)
Hey Everyone! Need a good reading challenge to start the New Year off!? Join the Adult Winter Reading Challenge January 5th-March 28th For Ages 18+! This Year We Are Doing A Bingo Card! Stop By On Or After January 5th To Pick Up Your Bingo Card! Sign Up By Clicking The Image Below!
Guidelines:
1. Bingo = 5 completed squares in a row up, down, or diagonal
2. Each book you read can only be counted once
3. If you think a book might count for a square, but you are not quite sure, just count it!
4. Listening to a book counts the same as reading.
Prizes:
First Bingo = Bookmark
Second Bingo = Pen or Pencil
Third Bingo = Mini Flashlight
Fourth Bingo = Lip Balm
Fifth Bingo = Fidget
Blackout = Return bingo card* and get entered into the GRAND PRIZE DRAWING!
*Even if your Bingo card is not completely done, please turn it in at the end of the program for a treat
Ultimate Bookworm Year-Long Reading Challenge 2026
(Ages 16+) (January 9th-December 18th)

To earn the prize this year you still must read 50 books of the 50 categories, or you can do the Ultimate Bookworm Challenge Your Way, where you read any 50 books of your choice.
The Challenge starts January 9, 2026, and goes through to December 18, 2026. August 1, 2026, is the deadline for signing up for the challenge. Dec.18 is the last day to pick up prizes.
This reading challenge is open for adults and teens 16+
Rules:
Only one category per book. You cannot use the same book for multiple categories. Books you read for other challenges (Summer Reading and Winter Reading) or for book clubs and school can be counted for this challenge as long as they fit into one of the reading categories and are completed by December 18, 2026.
A reading log will be provided when you sign up. All books must be logged on this log and checked off by a librarian to receive your prize.
Participants must read 50 books of the 50 categories provided or 50 books or their choice to receive the Ultimate Bookworm prize.
Participants must read middle grade or higher.
Participants may not read: Board books, picture books, easy readers, or magazines.
Audiobooks and eBooks count as reading.
Only books finished in 2026 can be counted for the challenge.
Participation in this year-long reading challenge is open to North Bingham County District Library patrons only. Prizes must be picked up in person.
You must have a current library card to participate and to pick up your prize.
